Elves for Hire

Elves for Hire

Back in the days, the term “Adult Assembly Required” didn’t even exist. Toys and games came assembled and were ready to take on countless toddlers right out of the box. Now days, not so much. In the beginning the “assembly” involved a couple screws and snaps, but has sense evolved into a ten-page-foreign-language-instruction building nightmare. Who knew toys could be so difficult to build? Perhaps that is why Santa needs countless elves to help build his Christmas stockpiles.  Elves are quick, have small fingers and the patience of a saint, in fact everything about Elves make them perfect toy makers.  So much so that I think Santa should go into business renting them out!  Have a birthday party or bat mizvah coming up, no problem, just order an elf.  Is you playroom covered in broken toys or did the baby find the Lego Star Wars battle ship for the 10th time today, no problem, just call an elf.  Have your kids forgotten how to build with blocks or have a tea party, no problem, just call an elf.  It’s a win-win situation for everyone, the elves get to see the world, Santa makes some extra cash and parents around the world get a well deserved break.  So the next time you run into Santa at the grocery store, tell him to ease up on the cookies and make a visit over to my place so we can chat.
